Blog Tour~~W.P.Smith~~Summer Winds

*****************************************

“The Next Big Thing Blog Meme”  W.P. Smith, author of Summer Winds  Science fiction writer (and writer friend!) James A. West tagged me to participate in the Next Big Thing Blog Meme.

The Next Big Thing is a blog chain in which authors tag fellow authors to answer a list of questions about their current, or upcoming, novel.

Thank you so much James.  Everyone please visit  jamesawest.blogspot.com   &  Ryan Schneider  http://www.authorryanschneider.com/ and check out their work.  You will be glad you did 🙂

Okay, let’s go!

1. Title of your book:
  Summer Winds
2. Where did the idea come from for the book
Summer Winds had been in my head for 30 years simply waiting to come out, finally meeting the indie world in April 2013
3. What genre does your book fall under?
Romance, Contemporary Romance
4. What actors would you choose to play the part of your characters in a movie rendition?
Tough one. I can’t think who I would want to play the characters!
5. What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book?
Life is about love and the triumphs & trials of living it every single day, taking the good, the bad & ugly & doing your best to make it better.
6. Who is publishing your books?
That would be me! My book is self published.  Summer Winds being my first, it was a hard road but afterwards, it made me anxious to publish more work, getting through the first round madness seems worthwhile now to see my book out there!
7. How long did it take you to write the first draft of the manuscript?
Right at four weeks. Then came the editing, which somehow was longer than it took to write the book! Love my editor Jill Forgery, who painstakingly worked hard to get me published!
8. What other books would you compare this story to in your genre?
Sadly, a love story is a love story but it you write it correctly & put your heart into it, it can stand alone among other great romance novels.  If  Summer Winds is given the chance, it will truly be an enjoyable read.
9. Who or what inspired you to write this book?
I’ve  always wanted to write.  Kept journals from a young age full of short stories. Christmas of 2012, my Mother informed me it was time to write the book I always wanted to write, so I did.
10. What else about the book might pique a reader’s interest?
The chance to experience love between a boy & girl which covers a large portion of their life and the lives of other family members in a East Tennessee setting bringing hope, faith and honest living back to the forefront.
Summer Winds  is available now    and      I invite you to give it a try.  It has received two 5-star reviews on Amazon making me very proud!  I hope everyone will take a chance and read Summer Winds. You don’t have to be a romance lover to enjoy it because it’s much more than romance, it’s life.
Finally, I am pleased to introduce the two writers I tagged for “The Next Big Thing Blog Meme”:
First, author Veronica Brannon, fellow Tennessean!
